SPRING FUNDRAISING EVENTS
The Tolstoi Heritage Centre has had a quiet winter but we are now gearing up for our spring fundraising events.
- We will be hosting our annual Spring Spaghetti Supper at the Tolstoi Senior Centre in Tolstoi, MB on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm. The menu is All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, Dessert and Beverage. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available.
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 2 to 9 years. For more information or to reserve your tickets, call Sandra at 204-425-3556. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.
- For the second year in a row, the Heritage Centre will operate a Breakfast Canteen at the Roseau River Park Canoe Derby on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
We will be in two locations, at the starting point by the Stuartburn bridge and at the park.
- The Tolstoi Heritage Centre is hosting their 2nd Annual Concert on Sunday, May 26th from 2 to 4 pm. The concert will feature “The 3 Guys” who will once again be playing some great tunes including lots of old time and Ukrainian selections. In addition, Zenon Horobec is our special guest. Zenon is a young, talented fiddling sensation from the area who wows audiences wherever he plays.
During the intermission we will be serving homemade cake and beverages.
Last year there was dancing in the aisle and we think this year should be even more exciting! Come and spend the afternoon with friends in Tolstoi!
Tickets are $10.00 and will be available in advance or at the door.
The Tolstoi Heritage Centre is raising funds for a badly needed paint job on the exterior of the centre. Eventually, we’d like to paint the interior also.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CRAFT AND BAKE SALE
Thank you to everyone who supported the Tolstoi Heritage Centre’s last fundraiser. Our annual Christmas Craft and Bake Sale was held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Tolstoi Senior Centre and was a resounding success!
